I know you submitted your story quite some time ago. I've been dealing with eye issues that have made reading online a major problem. My apologies for taking so long to post.

When we ask "why", and we all do at some point, it's because we wanted something different in our lives. I know that sounds obvious, and you might say to yourself, "Well, YA!", but in order for healing to really begin, we must give up on the idea that things could have been different, BECAUSE they weren't different. The longer we argue with what actually happened, the longer we stay in pain.

Your mother was troubled, and used drugs to deal with her own pain. She herself was incapable of taking care of you. Your foster mother was sick and twisted for targeting you after she gave birth. The system failed you, multiple times.

And now you have your own son. For the sake of both you and him, please seek out some form of therapy or counselling to deal with the pain you're in. You certainly deserve to be pain-free.

I send you healing energy, Antonia. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
