Thank you so much for that timely message, Cathy. Yes, a walk is so much better for you than wolfing down a whole bag of candies, especially BEFORE Halloween rolls around.

Another tip I'll offer my visitors, although it's not nearly as healthy as yours: Don't buy the candy so early in the month of October. And when you do buy the candy, put it completely out of sight, somewhere obscure, where you won't see it every day—not the pantry!

Follow this easy Trick or Treat philosophy: The Trick is to have one only every so often, then when you do, savour every morsel, every crumb when you do Treat yourself.

Oh, and Cathy, great photograph! There are some oddly-shaped pumpkins in that patch; but then, I've always been partial to the pumpkins that don't conform.
