To Dave:
by: Darlene - Webmaster

Children are wired to want both parents in their lives. Opening the door to your father, no matter how many warnings your mother issued, was a perfectly natural thing to do. And just because you did open that door doesn't mean you're to blame for what happened. You couldn't have stopped it, Dave. He was a grown man who was much stronger than you. Always remember that.

Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. I send you love and heartfelt healing energy.

Stalker Father (reply)

Dave, I'm in emdr therapy for step-father sexual molestation (my baby half-brother also died in his care) and my sister was molested as well; and also in emdr therapy my brain is now connecting my bio-father to sexually molesting me as well. I understand. And we could not defend ourselves and we are NOT to blame! Thank you Dave, for your story and courage to tell it. Jade
