You did many of the right things. First, you kept your friend in the loop; you didn't allow yourself to be completely isolated. Second, you got the help you needed from your cousins. Third, you broke up with him and didn't go back. That took a great deal of courage, courage that tells me you saw that you were far more valuable than what he had to offer. Keep taking things slow with your new boyfriend. And keep learning more about yourself and your qualities. Never allow anyone to mistreat you. And always remember that you are worthy of dignity, respect and love. That dignity, respect and love starts with YOU. I send you love, light and healing energy. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
