You need to get OUT of this relationship. He WILL continue to hurt and harm you. Lean on your family and friends. Contact the authorities and a women's shelter for resources. If you're in the USA, contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233). They have advocates available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week who can provide crisis intervention, escape planning, information and referrals to victims or anyone calling on their behalf. You can visit their website by copying & pasting the following URL into your browser: http://www.ndvh.org/

Whatever you do, DO NOT stay in this relationship. Doing so is putting your life in danger. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

The mystery of the WHY?
by: maurice

Why to reasonably or highly intelligent women stay in an abusive relationship: ? At 64 years of age I have found this to be a real question for me: Thankfully quite a number I have encouraged to get out, have, but building a relationship is very intrinsic and human: I believe both have to set the boundaries at the outset: RESPECT must be at the centre in the getting to know the other in the relationship: If either want to have control over the other then one must become aware of this immediately and talk it out: Mutual love and respect for each other is the only way forward all of the time: Many younger couples seem to think once you have sex that a friendship begins: They forget there is more to building a relationship: The real work begins when they ask who are you?? MJ MJ MJ get miles away from that uncaring/unloving/ man of the males species: He will not change. His anilmal insticts are breaking through and you are the sufferer both physically and mentally: Look at your body and say hi: This is not right: Why am I trying make it right by questioning my own intelligence and womanhood: Your bruised and battered body speak loads about this inhuman being: A percent of Men are sadly out of control and slightly animalistic in there treatment of women: The majority of women know so they just walk away: MJ walk away and fast: Put yourself in a safe invironment: Have real friends in your life: Darlene has given you the way forward and the way out in her loving words to you: They are from a woman's heart to another so Mj heed her advice: surround yourself with genuine and true family members and friends who will stand by you and truly love for the wonderful person you are: Don't think twice: just walk; Now one good way to get to know the true and real you is begin to have a healthy mind in a healthy body: Oh yes as you run/walk away from that no good of a man think about being active and alive with your friends/fellow students your own age and gender: Taking part in spiorting an cultural activities: You'll know the difference quickly: there is safety in n numbers: You'll be fine: Now get onto living YOUR life to the full: Your motto being: I will: I can: I must: Why??? because I am WORTH it: Oh yes you are MJ.
