For goodness sake, you are in a VERY dangerous relationship. What you're describing isn't love; it's abuse and assault. You say you "love" this person, but that can't be love. You can't love someone who is always hurting you. What you've done is substitute what your sexually abusive brothers did to you for what you have now. You're in danger, Byron. You must find a way out. But first, you must believe you are worthy of something better, because you ARE worthy of something better. You deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Please contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233). They have advocates available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week who can provide crisis intervention, escape planning, information and referrals to victims or anyone calling on their behalf. And please disclose what your brothers did to you. Not only do you need help for what they put you through, they are unlikely to stop sexually abusing others until they are made to stop. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
