PLEASE Help Stop Child Abuse

I am an 11-year-old girl with something to say: 
Even though I haven't been abused, I know how it feels. It is a horrible thing to be done to innocent kids like me. My best friend is abused by her father. She tells me that he hits her and does bad things to her. She is afraid to tell anyone because she does not want to be taken away from her mother. Her mother knows nothing about the abuse she is going through.

My dad yells at me all the time and sometimes even hits me. But he tells me that it is not abuse. I for one want child abuse to stop!! It's cruel, sickening, and it hurts!!!! Someone needs to help children like me and my friend. PLEASE help stop child abuse.
