Families refuse to believe the evidence that's right in front of them because it means they would have to admit they were complicit in some way or that they enabled the sexual abuse. It means they would have to look deep into themselves...and for many, they would much rather protect their convoluted idea of what their family was than to admit they harboured a pedophile.

As for you mother, she WAS complicit. And she should have gone to prison for her role. She knew and did nothing to stop it. And then, when you told, she further betrayed you by calling you a "liar". That is crazy-making stuff!

I'm delighted that you've found a healing path, Christina. And that you still reaching for the stars from all that life has to bring. You are not your scars. You are what you make of them.

I send you continued loving healing energy.

I’m sorry the world failed you

I wish I could go back in time and save the Young child you were. I can’t believe the universe leaves helpless children being unloved like this. Breaks my heart.
