My heart goes out to you and your daughters. You are dealing with the unfortunate realities of a heartless and less-than-adequate justice system. You now have an extremely worthy cause ahead of you. I suggest you start with your local congressman/woman. If you don't have the name and contact information, do a Google search using the keyword phrase "Congressman in Dallas Texas". I wish you and your daughters all the best. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

 I agree, i want the laws changed!

If you can figure out how to change the law or rally for this, I would be willing to work with you. I to have the same situation for our two girls! And because the some time has passed the law lets it slide and the mother (abuser) gets to keep right on seeing them when they refuse!

wow.i feel you 100%.im living that right now.i was raped and molested by my stepfather.also my bother and sister.it happened from 4 yrs old til i was 14. now im 28 yrs old.i just went to the police station 1 wk ago and the det said i missed the statue of limitations! so damn after so many yrs of me struggling i finally have the guts to stand up for myself and the law says "sorry too bad"?i really want you to tell your daughters to be strong fight for their lives back.it will be a longr and harder journey but it will be worth it. we have to be strong.these men are not better than us. we deserve better justice.i guess we have to go farther and look up more laws and get more people involed so that they can understand what we went thru and are still going thru. if they wanna talk have em leave a comment here.maybe they can help me.again thank you for your story,you should be a proud mother cuz my mother never believed my sister back when i was 8yrs old. your daughter are lucky in that way and so unlucky in other ways.god bless you all.
