Interesting perspective...consider however what brought the abuser to the point of needing to "hammer" someone weaker, especially to the degree of child abuse. When we know that answer (especially since we already know that most abusers have themselves been abused in some way) perhaps we can work toward healing and recovery for the potential abuser before abuse ever happens, which in turn can and will prevent further abuse. Thank you for sharing your theory with my visitors and me.

Yes, I understand your perspective, I also thank Darlene for her putting what you relate in perspective for you and me and all her visitors: In reality the one who abused me by spanking and beating me on my bare bottom was punished/disciplined exactly in the same way by his parents and school personel who were people of God; It was not right: It was abuse: No one has the right to abuse the innocent child/adolecent/young adult: I don't justify abuse in any form: forcing/making a child in all it's beauty, innocence take down their clothes for that persons sickness, weakness, sexual gratification: Taking the child dignity from them and the effects that plays in their minds for years after: How degrading it was for me and all to be told to take down your trousers and expose the most beautiful, natural and private of my body parts and then have my bottom beaten: It just can't be right for the male or female child: Ignorance of the fact they were abusing me I don't buy: They knew they were wrong: Control freaks rather then loving and cherishing parents/guardians of the innocent; Thank you for bring out my real belly button feelings about those who abuse the innocent; Be safe: stay safe: Celebrate your beautiful uniquenss and specialness: Darlene: Thank you:
