My sincere apologies for taking so long to post your story. I've been dealing with eye issues that have made reading online a major problem.

What a terrible shame that there are still people who believe that getting help for what you've endured is only for "crazies". Hard to fathom that therapy still has such a stigma attached to it.

You're not crazy RAM. You were abused, by multiple abusers. That's a lot to carry around with you. And I can certainly understand your feelings of betrayal at your mother; she chose her boyfriend over you...and you know that because of how she responded to him when she caught him doing something totally inappropriate. So of course you'd believe that there isn't anyone there for you.

Your message to others is an important one. Thank you for using your story to help bring that message out. I send you love and heartfelt healing energy.
