You are stuck in the cycle of abuse. This man will not stop hurting you and your son. He will escalate the harm he is doing to both of you. If you live in the USA, I strongly urge you to get in touch with the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233). They have advocates available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week who can provide crisis intervention, escape planning, information and referrals to victims or anyone calling on their behalf. Do what you need to do in order to protect both you and your son. You may be lost, but you are certain NOT useless. Your son needs you more than ever. And YOU need you more than ever. Step up and ask for the help you need to help you through all of this. You both deserve that.
