You submitted your story quite some time ago...my sincere apologies for taking so long to post. I've been dealing with eye issues that have made reading online a major problem. I do thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

You are so right about how important it is that we all step up and say "enough is enough". No one stopped the horrific abuse you were forced to deal with, and for that, I am heartbroken for you. I can only hope that as a result of what you endured and because of a lack of intervention, that you'll continue to use what happened to you as a way to bring both awareness and real change toward the rights of children.

When we bring light to the shadows, the shadows are cast away, and we are able to bring purpose to even the most vile acts.
