Gabrielle:

Keep in mind your very last words, because those are the words you must remember. You're telling yourself two distinctively different stories: One, that by telling you were the cause of those two little girls having to be with strangers. One, that by telling you protected those two little girls. It's not BOTH, Gabrielle, it's the latter you must focus on. By telling you have ensured the safety of these two little girls from their pedophile of a father. AND you've prevented other little ones from being abused by him. You honoured those two little girls after they told first. Maybe they didn't tell everything, but they did tell a trusted grown up that their father didn't treat you very well. This is what started the ball rolling. You honoured those two little girls by eventually telling the truth. THAT'S what you must continue to tell your Self.

When you told, you rescued not only your Self, but also those girls, and others too. It takes courage to tell in the face of threats and fear, but you did. And that's what's important. You SO did the right thing. And in the process, got a pedophile off the streets. You are to be commended! What strength you showed. What character you displayed. You have nothing to be sorry for, Gabrielle. You have much to be proud of. You are an inspiration. Always remember that. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. I send you love, light and healing energy.

I wish for middle ground
by: Anonymous

I wish there was a middle ground. Where reporting child abuse did not result in separation imprisonment and so on. Sure if the abuse continues but it seems that it is the first thing that happens.
