Interpol has made a global appeal for help in identifying the man you see in the professionally enhanced image above.
Photographs posted on the Internet showed the man sexually abusing children. Police stated that the man has appeared in approximately 200 photographs that show the abuse of a dozen boys who appear to be between the ages of 6 and somewhere in their early teens. The photographs were reportedly taken in Vietnam and Cambodia.
Interpol believes the man has been sexually abusing children for years, and that he travels the world in order to gain access to and exploit vulnerable children. Furthermore, they believe the man to be of European origin. Police have released a series of images in an effort to obtain the public's assistance in finding him. The images show a clean-shaven man with slightly receding dark hair who appears to be in his 30's or 40's.
The swirl you see in the left side image above was the digitally altered image that was used to disguise the man's face in the photographs that were posted on the Internet. Using cutting edge technology, specialist German officers were able to decipher the image; and now police need your help if you've seen him or if you can identify him.
If you recognize him or if you have any information that might help investigators, please contact the police in your country.
