Chosen sisters are wonderful to embrace as family. We all need people in our lives who can relate to us and empathize. I'm delighted you've found such a person. I also hope the relationship is one of not only sharing the awful things that happened, but that there is a friendship that is healthy and focuses on the positive as well. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Sisterly Love: great and empowering:
by: maurice

Reading Darlene's comment in which she affirms you by her womans's heart feeling words to you and indeed your sister: Also great to read her asking words Think about counselling: I am an only child: My friends are the sisters and brothers I never had: Likewise I have 2 who know my abuse story in intimate detail and while they empatised with me to the same degree that they were similairly abused it was not until I spoke with a counsellor that I put it all in perspective for myself: Which I shared with them: They seem to be strong enough to live there life to the full as they say it did not have the same effects on them: You are ever so lucky to have a sister to be intimate and close to being able to share your painful feelings with who listens, loves and is your friend: That's brillo, cool etc: I am so happy for you both: Mik know Darlene is always out for her visitors good and want the best for them: She truly is a realtionship woaman/lady: She relates ever so heart in all she writes in her comments to each of her visiitors making it real and so personal to that visitor: Your no exception she has written you a loving comments with your sister think about her encourageing words to you: Always believe in yourself: From today let your motto be I WILL: i CAN: I MUST: WHY??? Because I am WORTH it: I am sure you and your sister are health conscious so from today also begin having a healthy mind in a healthy body: Menaing you take part with other likeminded people (friends) in sporting and cultural activities: Great natural way to keeping the body beautiful and healthy: With the mind open to the many new horizons out there for you to reach yet in your life: LIVE WELL: LAUGH ALOT; LOVE MUCH: Beginning with yourself: My motto I will etc:
