You're an inspiration. You started by having the incredible courage to tell someone at school what was happening in your environment. That in turn led to action being taken. And now you're in a safe place. I do hope your brother is also in a safe place. As for your mother, you can't give her what she needs. She needs professional help, but she must want it first. Your job is not to take care of her, but rather, to be a kid and do exactly what you're doing now. I commend and applaud your father for providing you with the kind of home you deserve and for providing you with the love you deserve and providing you with the role model you need. Keep doing what you're doing, Emma. You have made a difference in the world already, and you'll continue to make a difference as you move through the various ages and stages of your life. You've already found a way to turn pain into power...keep up the great work! Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. I send you love, light and positive energy.
