You DID say goodbye that night, in a way that was more special than anyone might realize. You said goodbye by leaving the abuse and the abuser all behind rather than taking his life, and yours in the process. Words don't have to be spoken. They need only be felt for them to be. You have amazing strength and resilience, Beth. You not only made a life for your Self, you broke the cycle of abuse and raised a lovely daughter to be the wonderful mother she is today. And you got help for your Self when it was time. You're an inspiration to all. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
