You're such a strong person. You not only survived the horrors of living in that terrible environment, you had the presence of mind to get help for yourself AND ensure the cycle of abuse did not continue with you. You have much to be proud of, Betty. The healing modalities you chose to embark upon work for many abuse victims/survivors. So many choose not to seek help for themselves or don't know what can help them. Your story may well help many others with their own healing. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

You were given a raw, crappy deal because your so-called parents were so twisted and screwed up in their own ways of thinking that they didn't even know how to take care of themselves, let alone be parents to you and your sister. They didn't know how to love even themselves; all they ever knew was hate so they should've known better and loved and cherished you guys. Plus, they are truly sadistic brutes and they should go to prison for all those terrible crimes that they committed against you guys, their own flesh and blood. Oh, and I know what it's like to be beaten into tears only to be beaten even more for crying. You and your twin sister deserved so much better than what they did to you; you don't need your terrible, ignorant monsters for parents; you don't need to spend any of your time nor emotion on such sadists who deny all your truths about crying; in fact, everybody cries...and crying does not mean weakness; in fact, crying is a natural instinct. Oh, and you are not to blame for their sadistic, ignorant behavior; they are to blame because they chose to abuse you and your twin sister. You were the children; they were the adults; they had all the power and only misused it over you guys. Oh, and parents who abuse their own children are one of the real abusers. Oh, and most people who treat others the way you and your sister were treated often do it out of jealousy because they could never be such a shining star like you guys are. Oh, and I'm glad that you guys are in a safe place now; I hope that you guys stay in therapy and that you look into reporting those sadistic beasts to prison.
