You have a profound way with prose, touched2mysoul. Most child abuse survivors can relate to the nightmares, the haunting, the intense despair at enduring both. Once again, thank you for sharing more of yourself with my visitors and me. I will endeavor to always make this site a "soft place to fall".

 Sympathetic Understanding for You!

I know how you feel. I wish I could wake up from my nightmare. I am fifty-two years old and still have to sleep with a light on, because I have an overwhelming fear of the dark. Sexual abuse happened to me in the dark. In the daytime, it's panic attacks, when I run into certain relatives.I understand so well how you are feeling and you are not alone. I feel your pain. Thank God for this website, that I can tell people about my abuse and they listen and understand. I hope you find peace in your life because you deserve it.

 Your Beautiful Song of Pain

I have written songs for my pain..but yours is sublime. I pray for your songs of pain to turn into songs of joy = even in the night! God turns our pain into joy..i am still going thru the fire and the flood..my tears are the rain you see and feel on those dark and cloudy days..when there seems to be no sun. But GOD! Please..keep writing..someone should give this a minor key and play it for the world to hear. It will 'click' with more than you know. King David wrote the Psalms out of pain and then realized joy ..i pray for you the same gift of God.
