You have NOTHING to feel shame for. Shame is on the shoulders of the man who sexually abused you. And to say you "let it go on for 5 years" is to take responsibility for actions HE was responsible for. He took advantage of your youth and vulnerabilities, and your fear. He's STILL affecting that fear. Please reconsider your silence. Not only could it save another child from suffering the same fate; it could truly begin the healing you so deserve. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Please rethink your decision
by: Mike

As Darlene said, it was not your fault and by telling someone, you can get some help for yourself so you can move on with your life, and you can help to make sure he doesn't hurt more people. He will hurt more people until someone tells, and you will feel guilty and be affected by it until you get help.

Please, for your sake, for his sake, and for the sake of probably many others, don't keep quiet.

It's NOT your fault and you did NOTHING wrong. It's time to step up and make a change.

OMG serious? i just want to say, if u want to be a NORMAL 21yrold then u should realize a few things, and please dont see this as a personal attack. You are 21 now, old enough to run your own life and not allow people to dictate the true person hidden behind that wall. dont be afraid, its not to late to save someone else from it happening to. I know it's hard for u to maybe think about ur past and it hurts i get that (trust me) but what about the rest? what if he is? its up to. Its never to late to report somene. You could be saving the innocence of a baby, u have the strength. Also, alot of 21yr olds are not normal, believe me. do u really think people are telling everyone about the worst things of their lives? no they aint. it's all hidden, just like u hide urs. Take care girl.
