 Such courage and honesty...

You were certainly betrayed at every turn, Stephen: a physically, emotionally and sexually abusive mother; a father who was both an enabler and an abuser himself; a ridiculously double-standard school system that would allow a teacher to strike the head of a student, but expel that student for protecting himself against such blows; a blind and uncaring school system that would have a truancy officer outright ignore your plight in the face of a full disclosure. Every one of them should be made accountable. OF COURSE you would exhibit violent tendencies; who wouldn't!

Males who have been sexually offended against by their mother's all too often suffer in silence. Thank you, Stephen, for NOT staying silent. By telling your story here, other victims may come to realize that they are not alone. By telling your story, parents might come to realize that the "discipline" they impose on their children can have severe lifelong repercussions.

Thanks for sharing Stephen. I was physically and sexually abused by my mom as well. She used a belt and always made me completely undress. A typical whipping was 20-30 swats on my butt and 10 on my penis. It hurt so much I thought I would die. I thought I was the only kid that got spanked this way.
