No longer a secret
by: Darlene Barriere

Telling is the first step, Stacy. Good on you for taking that important first step! I sincerely hope you are taking additional steps to get help for yourself.

Keep telling
by: Steph

Abuse continues because victims keep it a secret. It is sad that threats, which are very real, to children keep the abuse going and the abuser unaccountable. I kept abuse quiet and I didn't start talking until my son started being abused. However, the legal system really needs to be more educated on how abuse is kept secret. By telling about it I hope that we can have less victims in the future.

Good on You! ^_^
by: Francine

So good that you told everyone about what your stepdad did to you! Don't listen to your stepdad cuz he is truly evil! You're a hero now, Stacy. Just keep telling everyone! And don't forget to tell the police, too! Keep up the good work! You deserve for your "stepdad" to say, "I am wrong. I'm very, very wrong. I am so sorry." You also deserve to be safe.
