So much betrayal...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Oh, Sheryl...the feelings of betrayal and abandonment you must be feeling on SO MANY levels. First, by your birth mother and the thoughtless selfish man she chose to marry, a man she chose over you, then by the "lovely" woman who adopted you and her completely-out of-touch husband, then again by your adoptive mother when you confided that you were getting married due to pregnancy, and now to learn your true parentage...I cannot be strong enough in my urgings for you to seek out some form of counselling. The best gift you can give your own child is to take good care of his or her mother.

I sincerely wish you all the best, Sheryl. You deserve the best.
