 It Is Abuse

You're right, Sharon. That version of spanking is abuse, though some would argue that all forms of spanking constitute abuse.

I hope you find some peace for yourself. Perhaps through some form of counselling. Perhaps as an activist for children.

It's not your fault, Sharon! I suppose that it is Gary's fault or your Mom's fault! If you want help, then call the police and tell them about Gary and/or your mother; that's sure to save your life! Anyway, I'm sorry that happened to you.

 A little respect please

To the person with the handle "Anonymous" who has been disrespectful of the fact that the stories in this category are true child abuse stories.

It is inappropriate to be rating them poorly. If there was a way for me to disengage the whole rating feature, I would have done so already. As soon as this feature is made optional, it will be gone from this category. Please refrain from rating people's stories, and have some consideration for their feelings.

I have the ability to delete inappropriate comments, and I have done so in the comments section for this contributor, as well as one other.

Dear Sharon.. My heart really goes out to you ..
I agree with you these pepole are the scum of the earth and must be held accountable for there actions .

My youth was taken away from me and when I told my parents of my abuse they did not believe me

But like you said abuse of any kind is control of power and has nothing to do with love...

I wish you the best of luck
