I'm very concerned that your father may be still molesting young girls. Sex offenders don't change their ways until they are made to stop. Once a sex offender, always a sex offender. He may have stopped assaulting you because he considers you too old for him, as sick and disgusting as that may sound. Please tell someone who can help you with this, someone who can help you deal with the repercussions of being sexually abused by your father, someone who can help you deal with the emotional abandonment of your mother. Rose, Darlene is right. Find someone to talk to about this, then find an incest group. You do not need to be alone with this. You can have a normal life. Your dad was wrong, so was your mom. I went through the same things. There are lots of us who have. Life can get better.

 Not your fault

You said in your story that you feel as if this is all your fault. I want to tell you that it is NOT YOUR FAULT. Your father did something that is reprehensible, and it doesnt matter if you found yourself unable to tell someone or not.IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT. I pray you find the peace and help you deserve.

you should read this book its called a child called "It" its about child abuse and a true story and autobiagraphy it is good and may make you cry but it's got some of the same stuff ur tlking about exept sex offender the father becomes an alchohalic but you have to read it.

Ma dad is truly a changed person aftr all ders nuthing God cant change na..:).... Ya and i did ask my best buddy to read this post i was finding it diffcult to tell it to him directly. Im happy that i found the courage to publish it here. Ma frend is a good support for me now.
