 So betraying...

Dealing with the physical and emotional abuse at the hands of this obviously twisted teacher was bad enough, but realizing that the adults in your life KNEW about it and CHOSE to do nothing because of her so-called prominent family, had to be unbearable, the ultimate treachery in a series of treacherous behaviours.

The very adults who should have been looking out for your best interest and well-being instead chose to turn a decidedly blind eye. They chose to allow innocent children to be victimized over and over again; nothing short of despicable. Every one of those contemptible enablers should be held accountable for their lack of action. And Ms. R should have been imprisoned for the rest of her pitiful life for her actions.

My heart really does bleed for you and the rest of the children this Ms. R so callously afflicted with her degrading and loathsome existence.

You're taking the first necessary steps toward healing, Paulette. I hope you're getting some form of counselling to help you deal with all the emotions these memories are revisiting. You're worth that help. And Ms. R isn't worth one more second of your precious life.

 There is no HELPin Missippi

Iam so sorry for the abuse you have been through! My grand children have been through so much at the hands of there mother. although now one is fourteen and the girl sixteen,the judge in Jones county Mississippi continues this abuse by ruleing they must spend time alone with her. The judge well not give the children a chance to speak and tell what has happned.I am a 75 year old grandmother. I have hired lawyers to represent them../. but they never do a thing. The girl is under the care of the father and they make the boy live with the mother. I am so afraid one of these kidds well strick back at the mother and ruin there life ! I wish I could tell you these the pain you have well go away but I know it never well! Isabella
