Always remember that what this man did to you was not your fault. You have nothing to feel shame or guilt about. This is all on HIM. Keeping the secret does you no good; instead, the secret will haunt you. The repercussions of this abuse could well explode as you go into the various ages and stages of your life. Tell you parents. Be honest about what he did. Even though it was years ago, he is likely still abusing little girls. Reporting him for sexual abuse could well save another little girl from suffering the same fate you suffered. Telling means you can start dealing with the effects. Just don't keep it to yourself any longer. You didn't deserve to be sexually abused. You certainly deserve help for the fact that you were. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
