You have taken the first necessary steps toward healing and recovery, which are the critical steps. I commend and applaud that you recognize how important these steps are, and that you really want to take them. Now you need help with the steps to follow. You didn't have a chance as a child. As an adult, you have the power to make your own chances. Please consider some form of counseling in order to deal with the repercussions of living through such terrible abuse. You didn't deserve what happened to you. You DO deserve the help now that you have. And so does your son; he deserves to have a mother who is happy and healthy. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
