 Rightly or wrongly, children are seldom removed from an abusive home...

I'm so sorry to learn that your friend is being abused by his father. I can see where you would think that nothing is happening when he is still with his abusive father. But you don't know what you don't know. You don't know what might be going on behind the scenes. Children are seldom removed from abusive homes. Instead, there may be other actions being taken, but I can't say. I can only suggest you contact one of the hotlines listed on my stories page, depending on where you live, in order to talk to someone about the distress this is causing you.  A friend in need is a sure friend indeed

That is what you are. a true friend, please read Darlene's words of understanding and advice to you. She surely knowswhat is the best words to use to all her many visitors personally. There is a saying arond where I live you'd know and you would'nt know. That is where you find yoursefl at regards your friend. Be patient, be understanding and in time your friend will let you know more as to what is being done in his house to sort out his abusive Father. You are a friend I would like to have if I was in trouble. Undisclosed 30 Human being with real gut feelings of wanting to help your friend. These are your natural qualities and giftedness. Please be patient and in time all will come right for your friend.
