You are a caring and loving person. Whenever you are either aware of or suspect child abuse, report it. This little boy cannot speak for himself, therefore you must speak up for him. I am concerned that his father doesn't seem all that interested in his son's well-being. If that's the case, then perhaps the best place for him is not with his father. You can't make him be a father to his son. Just make the call for the sake of this helpless little boy. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

You should make the call to your state Child Protective Service- if that's what they are called. The mother obviously doesn't care about her child and his father obviously doesn't want the responsibility for his son. The little fella just won't have much of a chance if you don't take some matters as to his welfare in hand.

You live in a beautiful city- I've been there. The little one deserves to grow up in a beautiful home in that beautiful city- with a beautiful person like you. If you can't be the mom he needs, you can be his protector, and get him to a better place.

Make the call. One day you will be rewarded because you cared for a small, defensless, human being, and you cared from the heart.

Monica: Darlene has heard your cry for help: You will do what you know to be the best for your stepson: He is precious: He is a gifted child needing genuine love and to be cherished: I always cringe when I hear or read about a Mother in particualr abusing her own very flesh and blood: Having bourne the specialness in her womb for the nine month's or so: Then lovingly going through the birth pains to birth their child: Thankfully they are in the minority as the majority do love and cherish their children: So Monica your stepson will be ok: you want to make sure he is not abused: His mommy, may just need to be loved and told you care for her and her child genuinely: Yes, the fear of falling out with a boyfriend is great even when you know they are not loving enough of their child: Monica: Darlene has given you loving words, heart words and women's heart speak to each other even from a distance: All hearts do when it comes to safeguarding the innocent and vunerable children: You are the best: great to know there a caring people out their to speak up fro the abused child adolecent young adult who have no voice or are in fear to speak out: Good on you Monica
