I'm thrilled that you wrote everything down and that those notebooks were so instrumental in getting that sex offender convicted. Don't let his sentence bother you. He got sentenced based on his choice to molest; it had nothing to do with you. And the fact that he was convicted and put away for all those years means that others are kept safe from him. Be proud, not troubled by what happened to him. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

 Always Believe in Yourself: Live well, Laugh alot, Love much.

Latrice, your story is empowering to others. Your advice to others who were, are, abused to talk and tell someone. Brilliant Latrice: You are getting on with your life, you are being helped by your chid to live it to the full for her sake. You keep searching for what is your right, your dignity, seek counselling it will be a great platform for you to blossom and grow in your life build up your Self Esteem: Look in the mirror, see a wonderful and beautiful me looking out at you: Be gentle and kind in your appraisal of that me. Say positive loving encouraging words to that me. Say I am rather than I'm not, Say I have rather than I haven'nt. I am beautiful, I have a fantastic body, etc. soothe and massage it with love and kindness. Have a healthy mind in a healthy body. Be part of likeminded groups/teams who will keep you thinking wholesome and healthy feelings about yourself. Latrice, it is your life now, your destiny is in your own hands. Let the past go, let the people in the past pay for their crimes on you, for their abuse of you, They need to know they did you an injustice. they ruined a very precious time in your life. They got what they deserved. Your beautiful innocence was effected by their actions. You are a survivor of abuse. You child will give you the energy and inner strength to do what is best for both of you now.
