Of course you enjoyed the attention and the feel-good sensations at that time in your life. In your mind, it was the only positive attention you'd received. The happy ending you speak of is of you, of Who You Really Are. The rest is a long ago story that no longer exists except in your thoughts. Change your thoughts, change your life. Stay positive, Katherine. Give your Self and your children all that you never received, all that you deserved but never got. Know that you are worthy. Know that you are special. Know that the world is a better place because you're in it. I send you love, light and continued healing energy. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

 So many abusers in your young life, so little love shown

Katherine, my heart goes out to you. All those years of trying to please one of your stepdads and not seeing love; all those years of also trying to look out for and even please your mom out of love and not receiving love. I don't really know what to say. Again, my heart goes out to you.

I know what it is like to be unloved when you try to please someone. I'm glad that you have your happy ending right now, all you can do is believe that this ending that you are living in is the right thing. You have your children and your husband who love you very much. That is the best thing in the world you can have after what you have been through.
