I hope you are still in counselling in order to further help you deal with what you went through as a child. You didn't deserve to be abused by anyone, let alone so many. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

 please oh please be brave, stay strong, stay with your counsellor

Kat, having stayed with host families and had 36 teens stay with host families in Ohio, I know what has happened to you is awful, is horrific, was an attack on your innocence and vunerability and you childhood dignity. There are great a good people in Ohio, you were unfortuneate that bad things happened to you in such homes and by bad people who took advantage of your vunerability. I hope now you will be good to yourself, love yourself, care for yourself, become a winner over abuse. Live your life to the full. Darlene sure has proved there is life after abuse so please read her loving words to you in her comment. She know best and has offered you true love from her womans heart. Please stay with your counsellor. Have a true friend or two to walk with you. Trust them to be your support a true and loyal friend is a jewel for anyone of us. I wish you all the best. Great you were strong enough in yourself to speak with a counsellor. Live well, laugh alot, love much Kat. Build up your self-essteem. love the wonderful and beautiful woman you see looking back at you from the mirror. Be gentle and kind to yourself and your body soothe away the scars of your abuse. massage yourself with creams and lotions making you feel good all over. I still keep in contact with all the families in OHIO I stayed with.. very good friends of mine forever now. Stay safe, work, rest, play and have a healthy mind in a healthy body.
