Julia, I'm delighted that writing your story was helpful. That was definitely a first step for you. The next step, when you're ready to take it, would be some form of counselling. A counsellor may be able to help you understand that you have nothing to be ashamed of or feel guilty for. A counsellor may be able to help you with your thoughts about what happened to you. You deserve that kind of help, Julia, you really do.

 You Can Heal

Julia, When I read your story. I was so infuriated by what happened to you. Your cousin was such a pig. I hope he is locked up somewhere today. A rapist's luck runs out eventually. That's what he is. Maybe by telling your story on this website is a start for you in healing. Don't for one second think you did anything wrong. You were a victim. Some people say they have forgiven their abusers, but I haven't and I never will. God will have to do that for them. When you're abused at a young age, it changes who you are. I hope you have a happy life, and thank you for sharing your story with the rest of us.~~God Bless You, Julia~~

im very sorry for your story
sadly i kno how it is to have that in the back
of your mind all the time
not thinking about it one day
and thinking its gone
just for the momories to come back the next week
trying to forget the
details
is really hard
im very sorry for wut happened

I am so glad that writing this out was helpful for you. It has no inspired me to write my own story on this site sometime soon.

My cousin does the same thing to me and I had something a lot like what you described happen to me. Please, be happy. You are not alone in this.
