I can't BEGIN to imagine the pain...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Josie, the red flags of concern are waving at full mast! You say that you "plan to raise them (your not-yet-born twins) with loving care and let them know Mommy won't do anything to hurt them or herself," yet you state that every time you handle a knife, you reopen the scars. I sincerely hope you are speaking metaphorically and not literally. Either way, please seek out some form of counselling in order to further deal with the residue of what your obviously sick mother did to you and herself when you were just a small child. And please do this before your twins are born. You—and the twins—deserve to have you fully-present and healthy. The best gift you can give to them is to take good care of their mother. If your own mother had been able to get professional help to deal with her overwhelming grief over the loss of her son, your brother, perhaps she would still be around today.
