You don't deserve to be beaten or called names or abused in any other way. You deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. You are NOT to blame for what is happening in your home. Blame lies squarely on the shoulders of your mother and father. I urge you to contact Kids Helpline in Canada at 1-800-668-6868. They are staffed with professionally trained counsellors who will help you with your options. You can remain anonymous.  Your parents are out of control

Giuliana, you mother is wrong. You are not a "spoiled brat"; you are not a "f***ing pain in the a**"; you are not a "ball buster"; you are not "stupid"; you are not an "idiot"; you are none of those lies that she was spewing; in fact, you are very smart, beautiful and articulate. Your parents are really twisted, confused and cruel in their own ways of thinking. They should've known better and loved you and cherished you in the first place. Oh, and you are not to blame; in fact, your parents are to blame because they have serious problems. You were the child; they were the adults. They had all the power and they misused that power over you. Again, they have serious problems and they need help...but you need help too, so the sooner you tell someone (other than your grandma and aunt), the better. Darlene is right! Tell someone you really trust (other than your aunt and grandma) and keep telling until they will finally listen to you and help you!
