Thank you for sharing your story and your words of wisdom with my visitors and me. And stay strong. You are a powerful force for yourself, your child(ren), and others. I hope you have the opportunity to seek out some counselling for yourself in order to deal with the terrible effects of being molested and of being betrayed by your family members. Always remember, we can choose to bring purpose to our experiences, good and bad. If I hadn't lived the life I did as a child, I wouldn't have been so motivated to create this interactive website, and I wouldn't have had the opportunity to open my heart to you today.

Thank you for writing and sharing your story...thank you for reminding me that I am not alone!! I too wonder what you wonder about yourself...would I be damaged if nothing had happened to me?? You look at me and on the outside I look 'normal' but on the inside I sometimes feel...GROSS...NASTY...DIRTY...DAMAGED!!

I thank you again for sharing and I pray you, we all get through our turmoils and find some sort of LIGHT in our DARK places...

Great you are healing ever so beautifully, positively, Darlene certainly re-assured you that you are on the right tracks. but please be sure to talk and keep talking through it all with a counsellor. You'll be fine both for yourself and your children. Is'nt darlen absolutetly totally honest, sincere in all comments to each one of her visitors individually and collectively because readin her comment gives me (us her visitors) such hope, such affirmness. Yes she truly is speaking from her heart in each comment. Slowly i am getting to know how genuine she truly is because now and agin she lets out her own truth of abuse and how she dealt with it. Yes, you can get on with living your life to the full only if you bother your bottom and do as she suggests. Know she is not telling any of us what to do, how to live our life but just saying from her heart in words to each of us individually.
