 Enablers ARE also guilty of child abuse...

Cynthia, I hear the anger you are so justified in feeling. I agree with you; anyone who knows of and/or witnesses a child being abused and does nothing to intervene enables that abuse. As a five-year-old little girl you had no voice and no means to protect yourself against this pervert. Now you are dealing with the repercussions of both the sexual assault AND the betrayal by people in charge of ensuring your safety. I do hope you're in some form of counselling in order to help you deal with the emotional turmoil of all this. You certainly didn't deserve what happened to you. You certainly deserve some help dealing with it.
