 Well done good and true brave child of God Child of the Universe

The joy I got while reading your story Charlotte made me very proud of you and how brave you were to tell. I am certain your story will give great courage to many to be as equally brave as you were and tell. I acknowledge too how difficult it was for you to relate the facts to your mother, writing it down was ever so brave, well done, that too in itself will give hope to others as they can write their story and hand it to someone they trust. Your Mother too was brave and sure showed a mothers love to you her beautiful daighter. It is great he is taken out of circulation and branded for life. Charlotte, great also you found Darlene's site from where you live. She sure is a visionary of hope for us all. You and I can tell others in the part of the globe we live. we are not too far apart but finding Darlene's site is a blessing to us and all her visitors. It is great to be able to sit in the quite of one's room and write one's abuse story knowing a very professional woman and gifted is stewarding her site for the safety and protection of each one who journeys on to it. Her words to you, you know she cares, she sure affirms you and is the silent listener to all those who suffer abuse. Her site for many is the uplift and stepping stone to make a beginning in the healing process. It is then up to each one of us to care for our own welbeing. Thank you Charlotte may many be encouraged to tell their story in the way you did.

 I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND

I HAD THE SAME ABUSE FROM A STEP FATHER. MINE STARTED AT FIVE. I NEVER TOLD A SOUL TILL I WAS 18. IN REALITY I BLAMED MY MOTHER SHE FOUND BLOOD ONCE WHEN I WAS SEVEN SHE SEEMED UPSET IT FELT GOOD THAT SHE SEEMED TO CARE SHE NEVER HUGGED OR TOUCHED ME MY WHOLE CHILDHOOD. I DIDNT TALK TO ANY FELLOW CLASSMATES UNTIL I WAS ELEVEN YEARS OLD. THERE WERE CALLS IN TO CHILDPROTEC TIVE SERVICES BUT WE WERE NEVER TAKEN AWAY. WE DIDNT HAVE COATS IN THE WINTERS UP NORTH OR FOOD.
MY BROTHER STARTED HAVING SEX WITH ME WHEN I WAS SEVEN. ITS WEIRD AS I AM SAYING THIS I HAVE NO FEELING WHICH SCARES ME.
I AM NOW THIRTY FOUR I TOLD MY MOM WHEN I WAS EIGHTEEN SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE. LATER I FOUND SHE KNEW I WAS LOCKED UP IN A ROOM FROM FIVE TILL NINE I USED TO THINK SHE HAD NO IDEA. I WOULD PEE IN A CORNER. MY MOTHER AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO GET PAST I HAVE A DAUGHTER OF MY OWN OF COURSE MY MOM HAS ONLY SEEN HER A FEW TIMES AND SHE LIVES VERY FAR SHE THREW ME OUT WHEN I WAS FOURTEEN SO I AM USED TO DOING EVERYTHING ALONE. MY MOTHER WAS A WARD OF THE STATE AT TWELVE. SHE SUFFERED EXTREME ABUSE. MY MOTHER HAS NEVER BEEN ABLE TO TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILTY IN HER MIND SHE WAS A WONDERFUL MOTHER WHO GAVE US BETTER THAN WHAT SHE EXPERIENCED. SHE HAS AFFECTED ME I THINK I FEEL SHALLOW AND EMPTY I REALIZE THIS IS NOT HOW OTHERS FEEL NOW THAT I AM OLDER. I AM NOT USUALLY DEPRESSED AND FUN TO BE AROUND YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW IF YOU MET ME OF MY LIFE. I DONT DATE BECAUSE I WANT TO THROW THEM AWAY QUICK AND HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH STALKERS. I AM TAKING TIME TO UNDERSTAND MYSELF NOW THAT I AM OLDER AND IT SCARES ME THAT I AM NOT LIKE EVERYONE. I UNDERSTAND HOW YOU FEEL AND HOW DEEP THE SCARS ARE THEY FILTER INSIDE OF YOU LIKE A MATRIX TILL EVENTUALLY YOU HAVE NO SOUL AND YOU ARE JUST A PIECE OF BREATHING ORGANS AND TISSUES.

 Sex offenders don't get tagged

In the UK, Sex offenders do not get tagged upon their release from prison as they are one of the few groups of prisoners who are personally monitored by Police and Probation during their period of "licence". There may be exceptional circumstances to allow for the fitting of a tag, but that would be decided at the time of his release. Usually with sex offenders, if there is cause for concern about their forth coming release then their release is delayed
