Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. I'm so glad your life is improving now that you are no longer in that abusive environment with your dad. I do hope you stay in counselling; you are definitely worth it. And you're dad doesn't have a clue about how wonderful you actually are.

Great you found Darlene's site, Her words to you are straight from her heart to you. She is aware of the belt and abuse. She is the victor over abuse but she was the victim of abuse like you are. Her words trully are real, understand she wants what is the best for you and all her visitors from abuse. Great you are in a safe place NOW. Stay safe. Always believe in yourself.Great you had the courage to put on paper the harsness of your drunkard father. His belt hurts physically, it also leaves effects. Please follow Darlene's advice. I want you to be your wonderful and beautiful self. Full of life, Please kepp having a healthy mind in a healthy body. Take part in all your Schoolsporting and cultural activities with your friends and class mates. Stay involved in these out of school. Live well, laugh alot, LOVE much beginning with yourself. Build up your own self worth and your own self esteem. You are a big girl now. You do your best (just for you) then all those around you will benefit from your giftedness and your tallents. I'M SPECIAL>>I LOVE ME>> BECAUSE I AM WORTH IT. Where possible talk to a counsellor just to be re-assured. Act on Darlene's words don't just read them. Get my message Carolyn 1. Stay safe, no more of that cruel belt or beatings.
