Your mother is being highly inappropriate...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

At 17 years of age, you have the right to privacy if you want it. For whatever reason, your mother is not respecting that; and that makes me suspicious of her motives. If this continues, I suggest you contact Child Help at 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453) in order to talk to someone. They are staffed 24/7 with professionally trained counsellors who will listen to you. You can visit their website by copying & pasting the following URL into your browser: http://www.childhelp.org/get_help

Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

questionable

Maybe your mother experienced something that was personal and she seems over protective. Possibly her parents dealt with her in this harsh manner.

I don't understand it
by: Anonymous

my grandma was very harsh towards my mom...but I don't think it gives her a reason to act this way. I mean she told us (my sister and I) that she would never be like her mother, but she still hits us and stuff...I don't understand it :(
