 Protect yourself; stay away from your friend's home!

Anna, no matter how close you are to your friend; you should NEVER be put in the situation where your sexual abuser is in the same house, never mind the same room as you. Draw a line in the proverbial sand; do not permit this sex offender to get anywhere near you. He's an adult now with a lot more strength and power that could result in escalated methods of getting his perversions satisfied. If his parents allow him in their home, don't go there. Keep yourself safe by insisting that your friend visit you in your home.

Don't compare your story to that of others, Anna. The fact that what happened to you is affecting your life means it is NOT a small thing, and it never will be a small thing. I strongly urge you to seek out some form of counselling in order to deal with the emotional residue the incident caused you. You really are worth it.

My friend .
Please don’t think that your story is small it is not.No story of abuse is smaller than another. We all have a story to tell and we all deserve to be heard. You have a story to tell of what happened to you and you deserve to be heard . I use to think that what happened to me was very small and a very minor thing compared to what other people went through, But years of therapy made me realize that my story is just as important
AND SO IS YOUR STORY.

You where violated as I was and you DESERVE to be heard , So please do not think your story should go untold. these people Must be stopped and by telling what happened to you, you are doing Your part to stop them…and I am proud of you for speaking out
