You did not start the fight, Amanda; your parents were the ones who did that. You were not to blame. Don't continue to carry that guilt around with you. And you sure as heck weren't to blame for the way your mother chose to deal with her problems. You deserved to have both parents with you, loving you and nurturing you.

Your mother must be held accountable for what she did to you. I'm very glad to hear that she is now in jail and that you are safe with your auntie. I do hope you stay strong.

Amanda, I'm so sorry about what you had to go through! What your mother did to you is so brutal and wrong! You are not a bitch! At least I'm so glad that your mother went to jail for trying to shoot you to death and I'm also glad that you moved in with your loving aunt! But I also strongly advise you to try some counselling if you are still having problems. You are so smart; don't ever let anyone think otherwise! The only stupidity that I see comes from your mother! You deserve for her to say, "I'm wrong. I'm very, very wrong. I'm so sorry."

I can't beleive your mom hit you, all because of a boy. Somenone should tell your parents that its life. But being shot by your mom, just isn't right. I'm glad your okay and that you are doing well now, all you can do is hope for the best as your continue your way to recovery.

wow that's just....wow.
i was honestly blown away by your story. i have parents that argue, yell at me and hit me but they haven't done more then that.
