Child Abuse in the News

The following are captured from recent child abuse headlines:
- Lancing, Tennessee couple face child abuse charges when their 7-week-old daughter was found lying next to their car on an Interstate 40 ramp.
- Manatee County Sheriff's Office report arresting a man for giving a 6-year-old boy a beer and then threw him against a wall.
- Salt Lake City: a 9-year-old boy was murdered by being put in a trash can filled with ice water.
- Largo, Florida parents were found unconscious due to drunkenness in a car with their 1-month-old baby in the back seat. The car was still running.
Okay people, when do we say enough is enough and take steps to stop this abuse? These are only a few of the current child abuse headlines in the news. It is time for stronger sentences.
