I just want to thank you Darlene for gathering all the information in the form of articles on the various types of abuse - from ignoring to actual violence... you really are helping me a lot. I am a registered nurse and I feel I ought to be helping a lot more children but I am crippled by my own inability to overcome MY experiences with child emotional and physical, sexual abuse. So this website is a real gift.
