Charlie is quite the empath...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Greg, your 4-legged friend, Charlie, is a very special companion to you. His unconditional love is a godsend. I smiled as I pictured you and he (even though I don't know his breed) running, playing fetch, both of you without a care in the world. If you have any photos of Charlie, please send them along. I'd love to include them with this post.

As for the photo I took the liberty to include, I encourage my visitors to send me their photos and images for the lighter side page. When they don't, I try to find one that I feel is appropriate. If I have in any way interfered with your memory or if I have offended you by including one of my own, do let me know so that I can remove it. And please feel free to send along your own snapshots. If you have more than one, send them separately using the submission form on The Lighter Side page. Be sure to include your name on each submission. I'll take it from there.

Thank you, Greg, for sharing how you bring the lighter side into your life.

Mans/womans best friend a dog who brings the best out in them.
by: maurice

Greg,It so nice to read your story of you bike riding and taking your dog out and about with you. great relieve of energy the good and not so good when one does that. Being out in the open breathing in the fresh air and letting all the negative feeling blow away in the wind. Returning reinvigorated to our home space or place of residence. Greg great also you are getting on with living your life to the full. You owe it to yourself to love yourself, be nice to yourself and your body. Know that wonderful person in the mirror can accomplish anything he wants. Don't ever deny that fact Greg. Have a wholesome and holistic value of yourself in that mirror only you can make yourself beautiful. Keep letting go and letting these good affirmations of yourself take over. I like mirrors but most of all I love the guy in the mirror and I don't have a problem with that now even at sixty two years. Still loving the parts that were abused all those years ago now. Thinking positive thoughts, acting positive and being positive about all of that now.
