Beginning My Journey

At the age of 54, I finally understand what ten years of sexual abuse has done to me as a person. It has completely controlled my life. Shortly I will be in a Health Center in Ontario, Canada to start my healing journey for real. Thanks to videos of Eckhart Tolle, I have been able to cope until I go to this center in about two more weeks. I feel very fortunate to be able to go to this Centre. I found your site by accident today and have really connected to its stories. It gives me hope that my future can be one with peace and joy. Thanks for creating this site, when I return to my home province, I hope to start a group to help others on their journey to heal. Anne

I was sexually abused by my father from age 6 to 13, which stopped when I started talking about it during the day. The teenage brother of my best friend
